So why SWAP!T Zone ?
SWAP!T Zone is a fun & environmentally friendly social network that provides you a secure platform to swap, buy or sell items & services.
As people are becoming more environmentally conscious, and during these tough economic times, at least 2/3 of these users have expressed a strong desire to buy, sell & swap used items, but there is simply not an easy means for them to do so. You have to go looking from one online store to another, one classified site to another, one thrift store to another, one garage sale to another. To find what you’re looking for is just too much work.
With our unique approach of integrating the social networking platform with the online consumer store, SWAP!T Zone becomes the very first site to bring these items to your door step knocking & asking, “hey, do you want us?!” Now all you have to do is simply look around your house and find something that you don’t need and convert it into something that you do. It’s as simple as that.

Easy to use
SWAP!T Zone is an easy-to-use, friendly and interactive environment where you can let all your friends know what you have, and at the same time see what they no longer want, all in one convenient place from the comfort of your own home. You see live feed of items & services as and when they're posted.
- You can either create your account or sign-in using your Facebook ID. It’s absolutely FREE.
- All registered users can swap, buy and sell any items or services.
- There are no membership costs or listing fees
- Items and services can be listed for any duration of time.
- Items and services that are swapped between users do not incur any charges.
SWAP Items/Services
You can make an offer to swap your items/services with any other item/service that you want from the site
Buy/Sell Transactions
SWAP!T Zone also allows you to directly buy or sell items & services. All cash transactions are processed through Paypal and SWAP!T Zone receives a 2% transaction fee. Unlike other e-commerse sites, we do not charge listing fees or photo fees. There is also no membership fee or maximum number of items that you can list.
Point System
We've also implemented a unique point system which also allows you to buy or sell items using points rather than money. Points work much like cash within the site. You can choose to receive points in exchange for your item or service and then use these points to purchase any other item or service from the site.
Ratings & Review System
To increase the reliability of the site and to ensure that you trade with confidence, we've implemented a rating & review system that allows you to post comments, recommendations and ratings on your transactions. You'll be trading safely with people you know plus you can confidently expand your network of friends by validating their legitimacy through their trade history. It's ABSOLUTELY FREE and we think you'll really enjoy using it!
Wishlist Feature
By popular demand, the wishlist feature is now available! If you cannot find any items or services you're looking for, all you have to do is to just add them to your wishlist & wait. Our search engines will keep an eye out for you and as soon as any of these items or services become available on the site, you'll get an email alert & SWAP!T Notification with the list of matches found. So go ahead, make a wish!
Targeted Network using “ Zones”
SWAP!T Zone also provides a “Zones” feature where you can create a "Zone" representing your brand. All zone members will see a live feed of available items/services that user has to offer as and when it’s published. Zones give a two-fold advantage to you. One is that it virtually becomes your online market place where all your items/services are published for the zone members to see. Second, all zone members can communicate by writing their comments on the zone’s wall. Zones provide you a way to increase your targeted network of friends.
Powerful Search Engine
Our powerful search engine enables you to search for any items/services available on the site. You can also do a more targeted search based on zones or distance.
Internal Social Media
SWAP!T Zone’s social networking platform allows you:
- To build your network of friends
- Share your thoughts and messages with each other on public and private walls
- Connect with more like-minded people via “Zones”
- “like” or “comment” on any items and services posted by your friends
External Social Media Integration
SWAP!T Zone also allows for full integration with Facebook and Twitter. This allows you:
- You can log onto the site using your existing Facebook account
- You can invite your Facebook friends to join SWAP!T Zone
- You can publish your items or services directly on your Facebook and Twitter pages.
- You can publishes your item post on SWAP!T Zone’s Facebook Fan page
- You can also sync your Facebook profile picture with your SWAP!T Zone’s profile picture
